Ayumi Hamasaki splurges on burial land
J-Pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki carries on her splurging ways, and recent news reported that her recent splurges include burial land for the Hamasaki family!
(that’s kinda an odd purchase i would say)
According to reports, Ayumi had spent approximately a whopping 10 million yen on a piece of burial land in Tokyo central. In addition to this, she spent another 8 million yen to erect a burial stone using high-quality materials. The burial stone is said to have “Hamasaki Family” carved in 3 different languages – Japanese, English and Chinese.
Indeed, this is what I deem as burial fit for the royalty. In this case, I mean the royalty of the Japanese music scene.
Wow.
yamapi dating?!
Famous Japanese celebrity Yamashita Tomohisa, more affectionately known as Yamapi, is rumoured to be dating Canadian-Japanese model Seira Kagami who is two years his junior. They are said to have been in a relationship for 3 months!
The rumoured couple was reportedly introduced to each other by a mutual earlier this year, and this developed into romance before summer began. Yamapi was also spotted attending a live performance by Kagami.
T.T why are all the kakkoi guys getting attached!
Eita and Kaela Kimura together.

Japanese actor Eita and British-Japanese singer Kaela Kimura are officially dating! Their relationship was revealed in the latest issue of Josei Seven, which included their pictures together.
As the magazine reported, Eita was driving home to his apartment in Tokyo on Sept 5 and Kimura was in the passenger seat. And the actor had just returned back home after being in Montreal for work purposes.
His agency had confirmed this serious pairing, and his management had explained that the couple had known each other through a mutual friend and only started going out together in late August. Kimura’s agency came to a common consensus as well.
Will the fangirls mourn over Eita’s attachment? I would say I’m happy, it seems like a good pairing. (:

Gambatte, Eita-san.
papa miyavi & mama melody

Rock celebrity Miyavi and ex Japanese singer Melody, who announced their marital vows not long ago, are now proud parents of a baby girl. The baby was born on Wednesday afternoon, slightly later than the expected birth date.
The couple’s marriage was found out much to fans’ surprise back in March this year, before Miyavi got to announce the news. Albeit a shotgun marriage, let’s hope all’s well for these parents!
Though I am still feeling a little sad that Melody retired from her singing career to pursue a path as a fashion designer.
Ayumi: Rimmel’s first Asian “image character”

Ayumi Hamasaki has been chosen to represent Rimmel, a London-based cosmetics brand, joining Kate Moss and other female celebrities. She is going to be the first “image character” from Asia, and indeed Japanese must be proud of her!
Ayumi, as Rimmel’s new face, is appointed in the hope of attracting more people from the Asian market to the brand, with the female artiste’s popularity and big-eyed beauty. As a fashion leader in Japan, Ayumi has also been models for many other brands.
The Japanese celebrity is expected to be seen in their advertisement starting next month. To kick start it all, Rimmel will be promoting their new eye product, using Ayumi’s huge mesmerising assets – her eyes!
eguchi yosuke: post accident
Popular Japanese actor Eguchi Yosuke, who had a motorcycle accident last month resulting in an adjustment in the filming schedule of Fuji TV’s upcoming 4th installation of medical drama “Kyumei Byoutou 24-Ji”, is finally back!
The accident was a rather serious one, leaving Eguchi with multiple fractures to his left collarbone and ribs at the time of accident.
As Eguchi returns to the entertainment industry, Fuji TV had broadcasted a clip of the actor’s explanation of what had happened. However, many had also realised that post-accident Eguchi seemed to have suffered from a slightly crooked mouth with rather stiff expression. Many had also speculated that the accident had left the actor helpless at this. ):
oguri shun! a movie director at last (;

Hey dearies, my bad for leaving this place for quite some while! been busy, been distracted, well you name it.
Anyway, what’s the best way to clear the dust of this blog other than starting it off again with Oguri Shun! ((:
News from Tokygraph.com revealed that Oguri Shun is finally going to be a first-time movie director! (well, talented guys in showbiz should really utilise their talents man)
Of course, while we all know that actors becoming directors are no biggie, but give some credit to this guy who is afterall still in his twenties (26+ in fact)! No official title to the movie yet, but there’s speculations that it might be named “Surely Someday”.
The star is currently overseas for work, and is said to be starting his directing work this summer. The film is rumoured to be a story of adolescence that will feature a cast of handsome actors! (ikemen =p) It will be cool to see Oguri’s group of handsome friends in the entertainment circle being his cast, I’m crossing my fingers haha. Anyway, news also mentioned that Oguri Shun was able to get this directing project rolling with the help of producer Mataichiro Yamamoto who heads his management agency, Tristone, and also Oguri Senior, Tetsuya Oguri, a stage director.
This film is expected to hit the theatres next year.
Oguri Shun and Tatsuya Fujiwara in Musashi!
both Japanese celebrities Oguri Shun and Tatsuya Fujiwara will come together once again to act in a play titled “Musashi”, after collaborating together in year 2003. This play will be staged from 4th March to 19th April, with a total of 54 shows. The tickets for the plays were snapped up in merely 80 minutes after the tickets were on sale on 31st January 10am.
The previous play in which both actors had worked together ended its run years ago with positive comments and feedback, thus I guess everyone is looking forward to them working together for an astoundingly successful performance.
Ai Kago: no new boyfriend?
(tokyograph.com)
Japanese magazine FRIDAY had an article reporting that Ai Kago has a new boyfriend! Pictures of Kago and her alleged boyfriend, actor Hidejiro Mizumoto, at a yakiniku restaurant were published. She was also seen entering an apartment with him.
Despite such suggestive evidence, Kago’s management has denied all rumours, stating that the female star is not dating anyone. Kago also addressed the issue on her personal blog, apologising for the trouble caused by the rumours.
Kago and Mizumoto have worked together in the upcoming movie “Benten-dori no Hitobito”.
However, Kago did mention that before her comeback, she often sought advice from this psychic Yoshiko Shimo who happened to be Mizumoto’s mother. Sometimes when Shimo was unavailable, Mizumoto was the one attending to her.
