Korean actor Lee Joon Gi has been ranked top at a poll “The Most Popular Korean Celebrity” on a Chinese website! Closely behind, are Rain and Song Hye Gyo at the second and third position respectively.

It was said that when Lee was attending a fans concert in Taiwan on the 23rd this month, approximately 80+ media broadcasters were there, confirming his growing popularity in the region.

According to Korean media, local celebrities Park Eun Hye and Jung Woo Sung have started their move into the fashion industry. They had worked together with two different departmental stores and had subsequently launched their own fashion brand.  Both of them are said to be embarking on a project in which they will design their own fashion clothes, determined to make their own fashion brand their style.

It was also reported that promotion of these fashion labels will be through movies and dramas in which Park Eun Hye and Jung Woo Sung have acted in. Furthermore, these fashion labels will be introduced especially into the market with the distinctive tag of “STAR TAG”.

Fans who cant get enough of the Korean heartthrob Rain, fret not! He has his own Internet protocol television channel where fans can catch snippets of him day in day out, starting in August! (:

J Tune Entertainment announced this news recently that SK Broad & TV went on with the decision to open this IPTV Channel just for the Rain. This would be the inaugural first time when a local celebrity has his or her own IPTV channel, and the channel name is currently still undecided.

Korean heartthrob Rain is having his “Rain’s Fashion Concert” tonight in Hong Kong, and this is also the first fashion and performing concert that he is having for his personal brand “Six to Five” overseas.

Apparently, his arrival at the HK airport yesterday morning around 11.30am had resulted in hordes of fans gathering there, and of course chaos ensued when the Korean left the airport with a ‘more protected’ route.

Well, but fans-friendly Rain still managed to mesmerise his diehard fans with his smile and handwaves when fans still caught a glimpse of him when he was arriving at the vehicle that the agency had arranged.

Korean celebrity group Big Bang is not only a sensation in the music industry, but seemingly also in the publishing industry. Their book titled “Cry Out Loud To The World About You” might even surpass their own album count! (which is 200,000 btw from their second volume “Remember“)

Released on the 28th January this year, the initial 100,000 copies had been snapped up and an additional 60,000 copies have been printed and out in the bookstores. The response from buyers has been phenomenal, having placed as best seller in many online bookstore websites. This is already happening without the upcoming promotional period for the book, guess Big Bang’s book stint is really gonna be a big bang.

“Cry Out Loud To The World About You” is a book that reveals some unseen characters of the members of Big Bang, something that fans would die to know about. And accordingly to a spokesperson from YG Entertainment, the book is getting positive reviews from people of all ages.

By the way, for the uninformed, the above English title is merely an English translation of the book that the group has written in Korean.

Korean celebrity Kwon Sang Woo who had a shotgun marriage with Son Tae-Yeong is expecting the baby to arrive on 28th next month. This delivery date has been revealed by the mother herself. In her interview with the press lately, it is also known that Son Tae-Yeong had suffered from mild depressions during her term of pregnancy.

Since news of this couple coming together in marriage were out last September, the lady has been receiving negative comments from the online community. She had stayed in Australia a while ago during the stabilising period of her pregnancy and had been alone since Kwon Sang Woo had to return to Korea for work reasons. These were said to have contributed to her slight depression.

But thank goodness, the prospect of being a mummy really soon has made this woman a more courageous and cheerful one indeed. And we look forward to the couple being a proud pair of parents.

Korean actor Ahn Jae Hwan was found dead in the back seat of a black van on Monday September 8th in the morning. It was said that he had committed suicide. He had left a suicide note mentioning to donate his body right away if found. In his last words, he also expressed apologies to his parents and love to his wife Jung Sun-Hee.

In May this year, Ahn Jae Hwan’s movie production was halted due to a lack of funds and disgruntled employees. To add on, his personal businesses were not doing well either and the actor got himself into a whole lot of debt that was said to add up a hefty sum of USD 4 million dollars.

The death of the actor is currently still under investigation by the Korean police.

just my thought, Danson Tang (or more affectionately known as Tang Yu Zhe) from Taiwan looks rather alike, when compared with Korea’s Hero Jae Joong. or at least in these 2 shots, the hair made a hell lot of difference i suppose (:

Jae Joong has been always known as the pretty boy and he was ranked top in one of the polls this year, crowned the Most Handsome Man in Asia. -gush- Danson Tang on the other hand is a Taiwanese actor who started his career as a model before pursuing an acting career and subsequently singing.

News reveal that Korean starKwon Sang Woo will wed beauty queen Son Tae-Yeong on the 8th of September. Kwon Sang Woo had met up with his Japanese and Korean fans a while ago and had also mentioned that he intended to go for an early honeymoon to Italy. He also revealed that due to heavy showbiz commitments, he found it hard to go travelling after the wedding, thus the decision to take the wedding pictures in the land of Italy and to make up for the fact that there wont be any travelling after the joyous event.
