Ako Kawada in apparent suicide

with 6 comments

Ako KawadaFamous TV presenter Ako Kawada was found dead in her car this morning and police believe that this could well be a suicide case. By the time the police has arrived, the TV presenter was slumped in the front seat of the car, with 2 charcoal briquettes in the back seat.

A note was left to Kawada’s parents on the front seat, seemingly a suicide note. A while ago, Kawada had blogged about being tired and worn about, mentioning the desire for a break.

However, suicide seems to be too long a break for Ako Kawada to take. It sure makes someone sigh when while there are people in China struggling for survival from the earthquake, there are people on the other side of the world choosing to end their lives prematurely.

Nonetheless, rest in peace.

  1. I just found your comment a little naiive… I suppose it’s not entirely understandable unless you yourself have experience deep depression or other conditions that can lead to this. Even if one is beautiful and successful, being emotional unstable messes with you big time. Even your achievements may mean nothing to you…I can understand how suicide can be considered “selfish,” but I also see why people go towards this choice as the only way because I’ve been in a similar situation. Some suicide victims think that their action is good for society because they are a waste of space – a useless member of society or that they can’t adapt to a society that has gone downhill. Of course I’m not promoting it..but I just wish some folks would stop indirectly criticizing those who commit suicide or attempt it. Thanks much.

  3. [to hmm] i guess i have no intention of criticising ppl who attempt or actually commit suicide. i just thought it was a very helpless thing that people do choose such a route, because afterall i truly believe that the fact that you and i are breathing right now, looking at this computer screen, is actually itself a gift.

  4. A freelance TV announcer Ako Kawada, 29, was found dead in a car in Tokyo on May 26th Monday morning, reported as a suicide.
However there are a lot of suspicious points in and there is a huge discussion regarding her death in 2ch(Japanese web site).
    According to this web site:
The owner of the car is her agency “Pearldash” and mostly used by the president Mr. T.
The president Mr. T is believed to be in close relation with Japanese Mafia and is missing since her death.
The car was parked on the load side near the apartment of Mr. T.
Mr. T sent several blackmails to make her give up her new American boy friend.
Mr. T made her pregnant and forced her to get an abortion
The person who found her and called police is also missing.
Two charcoal briquettes were used, which is unusual for suicide of a Japanese woman at her age.
Only driver’s side window was sealed and navigator’s side door was unlocked, which can mean somebody escaped from the navigator’s side door.
JP media and police seem to be trying to end the story with a normal suicide without making necessary investigations.
This agency and its group including “Company-K” and “B production” have a powerful influence on JP media and can easily cover up scandals.
This group has a close relation ship with Japanese famous religious organization.
This group with the mafia and the religious organization even have power to control JP Police.
Mr. Shimizu, former president of “Drive music” which is a group company of “Company-K” also found dead in the end of last year, also reported as a suicide using charcoal briquettes. It is said that Mr. Shimizu had some troubles with Mr. T.
Mr. T became stronger and a nuisance for other VIPs in the group.
The head of the mafia recently had medical operation in US by FBI’s coordination in exchange for some information.
JP show business is a major revenue source for Japanese Mafia and religious organization.
There are many suspicious suicide or accidental death in JP show biz especially around this agency group.

  5. I think those who cannot stand life, and those who want to end theirs,
should do what they want. It’s their life, if they don’t want to move forward to reach out to someone or achieve something, its their choice. But I do agree with Buzzerbee, Life is a gift, life is what one makes of it, not more, not less. If one cant cope with pain, stress and such, suicide will come across ones mind. choices. Eventually, everyone will do what they self think is right, and the meaning of that is universal.
